~ French Farmhouse Dining Set ~

I have been corresponding via email with a new customer whom I had never met. She has been looking on Craigslist for a dining set to have us refinish. My last email from her was that she wanted an estimate on a set she was going to pick up
....turned out that set was this one!
 (I had it listed on CL also and she hadn't yet seen it posted on the blog)
So not only did I get to meet her but this set will be refinished and I'll be able to post after pictures.

Funny how some things work out :)))

Large French cottage dining table with 6 ladder back chairs - two are captains. Generous sized woven rush seats are in great condition. Glazed rustic wood finish with wormholes, notches and grooves. Nice curves and lines. Pretty bowed cabriolet legs on table and chairs. Table has a single drawer on both ends. Set is in very nice condition. Does have some minor nicks which could easily be touched up but since table has a rustic finish they do not stand out to much.

Table measures: 77" long x 44" wide and stands 30" tall.

***Has a 20" leaf extension making table 97" long for those large family and friend gatherings.

Solid wood quality Basset dressers in an antiqued creamy white distressed finish. Brown stained tops. Pretty dove-tailed, bowed drawers with decorative glass knobs.

Tall dresser: 49" tall x 36" wide x 19" deep

Wide dresser: 35" tall x 26" wide x 20" deep

 I'll be posting two antiqued white dressers. One tall boy and a lower wide 6 drawer. They are a matching set, Basset, with bowed drawers. I'll have to wait and see what my busy day brings. Would like to get them posted later on today but it's very possible they will have to wait until tomorrow before they are up!

Pretty French farmhouse / European manor dresser. Hunter green with a chippy distressed and glazed finish. Rustic dark stained top trimmed with a strip of red along front edge. Three dove tailed drawers. Top drawer sits further out than bottom two drawers and has corner wood accessory tray.

Beautiful large vintage sideboard painted in a pale shade of mossy cottage green with an antiqued chippy distressed finish. Rich dark stained cottage top. Rockford Republic Company. Two bowed drawers - top drawer has wooden divider. Two outer cabinets that bow inward. Very pretty lines and curves. Original hardware. Stands on long, lean legs.

~ Old World European Sideboard ~

This piece is a TOP contender on my list of favorites. I had quite a few places in our home I would of liked to have kept it...right where it was for one. Since this is a spot I'm constantly using to stage furniture it would of gotten in the way...or so I keep telling myself.

-A lesson I learn over & over... & over :)

Visually stunning old world European antique sideboard. Rockford Republic. Quality solid oak with a rich dark stain on top and front panels. Striking turquoise/teal weathered finish. Beautiful hand carved details throughout. A must see in person to fully appreciate.





Two cabinets. Bottom drawer is a nice sized deep drawer. Top drawer has a removable wooden tray with slats.
